business trip to Pakistan

Howdy. I have to attend a business meeting in Pakistan. I must say that I know almost nothing about the country, except what media serve us. Is it dangerous to be there? I dont even know where to stay during those 2 days. It would be nice if someone recommended me a hotel there. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I think Pakistan is more than the picture that is given by Western media. I visit Pakistan from time to time in business reasons. Dont forget that in Pakistan was an ancient civilization. You havent mentioned which town you will visit. I guess it is Islamabad. I go there and I usually stay at Islamabad Serena Hotel. It is very luxurious hotel. The stuff is more than friendly. You feel like they are a part of your family. It is very comfortable and I think it is very convenient for businessmen. Look at me. I think you wont have troubles there.
