beaches around Atlanta?

I am going to Atlanta I have some business trip so will be stuck with work for few days. The rest of the time I would like to spend if its possible on some walk on the beach or something that includes this kind of ground. I know this sounded pretty pathetic, but here comes my question- are there any beaches around in Atlanta?

Well dont expect sea water next to my Atlanta beaches, list of suggestions, heh. You for sure have swimming beach on Clear Lake State Park or even could go for a boating, fishing and everything else in Ess Lake State Forest Campground where beach can also be found. I guess these two are the nearest ones that I know of. And around this area I think that Tomahawk Lake State Forest Campground is the most famous one, prove me if I am wrong no problem. It is located 20 miles from Atlanta.
