Hi! My boyfriend planned almost all of our vacations together and he always tries to find a new place for us to visit. For January he has planned a nice week at Lake Tahoe. So I have been browsing through the beautiful pictures of the Lake and they all make me want to go for a swim in its clear blue waters. Now the thing that I was wondering about is what will it be like at Lake Tahoe in January?

Hi to you too. Youre absolutely right about its magnificent water it sure does make you want to jump right in. But let me tell you just one thing: the moment you experience winter at Lake Tahoe you wont be thinking about summertime for a long long time. Lake Tahoe is even more popular during winter The snow will take your breath away, plus you can get a really healthy tan out there. The pine forest which goes all around the lake stays green throughout the year and it really makes up for the vegetation covered by the snow. During the ski season loads of people from all kinds of places come to visit so theres always a really good vibe going on. If youre not that much of a winter sports fan you can always find comfort in taking healthy walks through the woods which surround the lake or just stay indoors and enjoy the hotel facilities.
