Centreville is an amusement park located on a Toronto Island. The only way to get there is by ferry, theta leave every 15 minutes, from the Toronto Ferry Docks at the foot of Bay Street and Queens Quay. Don’t worry, the price for the ferry is not expensive. Fares range from $6 for adults, $3.50 for students under 19 and seniors, and $2.50 for children under 14 years old.

The whole Centerville is actually an old-fashioned amusement park designed to re-create an early 1900s town. It will mostly entertain children from 2-6 years old, but adults can also enjoy and find something for themselves in this beautiful park. This park is highly recommended for families with little children.

More than 600 acres of parkland surround 30 rides and attractions. After fun-filled hours on the ferries wheel, antique carousel, motor boats, pony ride, water slide and miniature golf course, families can enjoy picnics and train rides, or strolls through the nearby animal farm. The island's quiet beaches provide the perfect escape from the bustling city.

Here are some tips for newbie’s at Centreville amusement park. Remember to bring towels and swimsuits if the weather is nice as there is a wading pool in the park which is nice on a hot day. Also be sure to visit the park's farm - all free even if you don't have a pass. There are tons of animals, great for those who live in the city. Also, the island and ferry does get pretty busy in the afternoon. Try to go over to the island about an hour before the park opens and go play on the centre island waterfront beach, playground and splash pad. Also be sure to visit Franklin's Garden. Very, very cute for toddlers and preschoolers who know Franklin the Turtle. All the character statues are there, a maze and the tree house. And that’s about it, the rest is up to you to discover.

There is no admission fee for Centreville, but all-day ride passes are available for the attractions.

Admission:
- under four feet tall $19
- over four feet tall $27.50
- a family of four with minimum one adult $85
- for the entire season $50

Don’t forget to take a camera so that you can take a picture of every nice thing you will see there. Have a nice trip and enjoy your vacation.
