I am going with my colleagues to Argentina next month. We will be traveling on our own for much of the town. Being students, we are not looking to stay in any hotels. We were thinking more about hostels. So, we would like to know what are hostels like there. Thanks in advance for any help.
Argentina is very nice, once very wealthy country. Traveling on your own is probably the best idea. Since you will be going to many places, I suppose you will need to go to several different hostels in many towns you will be visiting. Hostels are pretty decent in Argentina. Rooms are clean, but you of course should not expect anything even near some luxury. It is serviceable and that should be enough for you. Since there are really many hostels, it is best you introduce yourselves with each by going to http://www.hostels.com/en/ar.html. There you will find hostels sorted by cities, with all the information you need about each.
