Your favorite beaches around Durres?

Hello! My friends and I are spending our holiday in Durres. We are about to leave soon and I wonder if Durres is a good place to stay at. I don’t know anything about the beaches in that part of the country. What were your favourite beaches near Durres? As I know, Albania is surrounded by two seas and Durres is situated at the Adriatic Sea coast, right?

Durres is one of the most popular Albanian resorts and although many people come there in order to enjoy the sea, it is a place that offers many historical sites, too. Those who are interested in history, can have a really good time in Durres. Beach of Currilave is a complex of beaches, if I may say so, that comprises the most beautiful sandy beaches. Yes, Durres is on the Adraitric Coast of Albania. The major coastline is bordering Adraitic Sea and only a small strip at the southwest faces the Ionian Sea. In my opinion, the Adriatic coast of Albania is more attractive than that of the Ionian Sea.
