I had never been to Chile up to now. I went there two months ago. I must say that I was more than satisfied with this trip. I recommend this country to everyone who wants to experience something new and exciting. You have to explore Lanca National Park near Chilean desert. It is fantastic.

You are right. I went there some six months ago. We traveled from Santiago to a coastal town in the north called Arica. From there, we went into the high Andes where Lanca National Park is. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. We saw Giant Hummingbird, Giant Coot, Andean Avocet, Torrent Duck, Andean Gull and Andean Condor.
