Would you consider traveling to Sudan?

Africa has always been a mysterious and inspirational part of the world to me. I read so many stories and novels about the continent so my desire to see it in flesh has become very strong. I also read many brochures describing its beauty. I would like to start with Sudan. Would you consider traveling to Sudan?

Well, Sudan is a beautiful country worth visiting but I would advise you against such trip right now. There have been reports on assaults and terrorist attacks on US citizens there so I don’t think that going there is a good idea. I would wait for a while if I were you. Or if you can’t postpone the trip you can choose some other African country.

Exactly. From time to time you can encounter strong anti-American sentiments throughout the country. Therefore, one should avoid crowded public areas and public gatherings. Also, I would not travel alone, if I were you. But, like he said, the best thing to do right now is to go somewhere else.
