Will it make a difference if I send a complaint letter?

I just got back from my first cruise- and the last one probably-and I am very satisfied with each of its aspect so I am curious will it make a difference if I send a complaint letter? I started having inconveniences from the very beginning for the embarkation process took more than 3 hours and I was all tired when I finally reached my cabin but the heck I got my bags about 3 hours later. But that is not all for I also had some other problems regarding the board stuff and the way I see it they were behaving so unprofessional which I never expected from Carnival cruise line-I mean it took to one of them more than an hour to bring me the ashtray in my cabin and the other day I was expecting some of them to bring me the bath towels and eventually it turned out they were no towels available for that day. I was lucky enough to book a short cruise-it was 6 days cruising- but still I am disappointed for I expected this cruise to be some perfect life experience and I actually ended up so angry. Anyway I am planning on writing a complaint letter but am curious to hear would it make any difference sending it?

You better get some good advice from your TA that is what I did after I figured out I was over discharged by the on board steward and to be honest that was all I could complaint about-and I also had a Carnival cruise trip and I had such a fun. Anyway upon my disembarkation I was talking with other cruisers around and I figured out I was overcharged on my drinks and liquors. And anyway I referred to my TA the next day discussing the issue with him and he advised me on writing a complaint letter and sending it to its company along with the receipts I was keeping in my wallet all the time. And though I waited for the answer for more than 2 weeks I got compensated very satisfying so lets say it could make a difference if you try.
