Which to choose: Park Hyatt Paris Vendome vs Hyatt Regency Paris Madeleine?

I am planning to visit Paris next year. I have never been there but I feel like I had because all the books I have read about it. I cant wait to take a stroll with my wife. I hope it will be romantic like the books said. I have some Hyatt points and was wandering which hotel to choose. What do you think: Park Hyatt Paris Vendome vs Hyatt Regency Paris Madeleine?

I must say that I have been only in Madeleine. It is in a great location and it is probably main selling point. You have a few minutes walk to the Printemps and Galleries Lafayette and tons of other shops. The rooms are very small even claustrophobic. The service is great and design too but I think this hotel is overpriced. The price for one night is $300-$400. You must take care of reservation on time. For PH Vendome I also heard just good things. It has a modern elegance to it and service is all time great and smiley. I even heard that it is better than Madeleines. Hope this helps. Nice stay and I am sure it will be romantic. Paris is that.
