Hello! I wonder if I can call on you guys for some advice? We would like to spend our holiday in Chiang Mai, Thailand, at the end of the year. We think we deserve a nice break, and would like to stay in one of the mini resorts. It is the first time for us in that part of the world and we don't really know what to expect and where to start looking. Any recommendations?

Good choice! Chiang Mai is a really wonderful place and I don't doubt that you will agree with me. There are lots of resorts out there, and I can only tell you about the one we stayed at while we were over there - the Scorpion Tailed Boat Village, Riverside Resort. This has great service and a great location! I had nothing to complain about, anyway.
