I am curious about one thing, and I would really appreciate if someone could give me some more information on this. My wife and I am trying to decide where to take our family on a holiday next year, and in order to decide we would like to know which country is more expensive: Germany or Switzerland?

Ok, it is a very difficult question. Based on my own experience, I can tell you that Switzerland is a little bit more expensive than Germany, especially when it comes to food and hotels (which has a great influence on costs of family trips). For most of the other things, the difference in prices is not so noticeable.

It would depend on where in these countries you would be going!
Some parts of Germany are more expensive than the other, the same goes for Switzerland, so I suppose you should provide us with more information on the desired regions or type of holiday....winter, summer, budget, luxury, skiing, etc |
