Which do you think is better: St Pete's or Clearwater Beach ?

I just cannot imagine summer without beaches and all the goodies that come along, swimming, sun bathing, water and sand sports etc (not to mention the girls!). Anyway, which do you think is better: St Petes or Clearwater beach? Have you been to any of these beaches? I know that they are always in the top or near the top five beaches in States each year. What do you say?

I dont know for other beaches, but white sandy shores of the Mexico Gulf is something just beautiful to me. I am talking of three miles of Clearwater Beach with dinner cruises, deep sea fishing, restaurants, attractions. There are even artisans and street performers, usually in the evening. What more you can ask for fun day at the beach? It is certainly enough for me.
