I am moving to London in a couple of months. I got a job there and I am very excited about it, since that is a regular job. Because of that, I need a place to stay. I would like to know what is the best location in London for people like me. Any advice will be very useful to me. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on the job! Now, regarding you quest. You should stay out of the center, out of the suburbs, and the places near the river. I would suggest you search for a flat on West end. It seems to me to be close to any profession, and you will certainly enjoy the time spent near the theaters. Also Notting Hill seems like a nice place, but that is already probably became a tourist hot spot. Also, try some more affordable parts of East End, but you will have limited options there since most of the area is very expensive. There are various smaller parts of the city where you can find budget houses for sale. I am sure, though, you will find everything you need around the West End.
