| Yeah, I have to agree with you on this one! There is something truly special about London during the Christmas holidays. I guess it can be the combo of traditional Christmas customs and new commercialized tendencies, and the idea that London itself, though its a metropolis, has preserved some of its old fashioned spirit, and the merging of these two influences are, I think, the reason why it is so appealing. Within just one night one can experience a traditional Xmas Eve in a country house inn and later go to a huge rave party. But, I wouldnt mind spending my Xmas in a hut near the fireplace somewhere in the Alps, sipping punch. |
