I will be going on a trip across Italy soon and I was thinking about going there by car. I mean not by my car, but to rent a car and see the country that way. I planed most of my trip I just need to get sort a couple of details. Where to stay between Rome and Venice, is one of them?
If you really want to see the Italy it will not be possible to do it just from your rented car. You need to get some other forms of transportation as well. For example, you should use a train from Rome to Venice. Load your car on to the train and then get a third class ticket. That is how you are going to experience Italy for real. Just by driving around you will see a lot of stuff you havent seen before, but it is like that for every new place you go to. If you want to have something to talk about when you come back, believe me it is this train travel.
