Where to go on a Skiing holiday in the US for 2?

Me and my partner are planning our next holiday, and the plan is for me and him to go just the two of us on a skiing trip to the US. The problem is that we have no experience of that and we have really no idea where to go! We will be able to stay there for two weeks and all your suggestions are welcome!

I would suggest you Killington without a doubt! This is one of the largest skiing destinations within the US, and the resort connects six mountains with slopes for all abilities. You don't mention whether you are experienced skiers or not, but if you need lessons they are available. Or if you know how to ski already, perhaps you could learn to snowboard!
