| Where to go shopping in Montreal? I know that you may think I’m superficial, since I don’t ask questions about Montreal’s cultural and architectural landmarks, but I simply love shopping and wherever I go, that’s the first thing I do there – go shopping. I think I’ve heard Montreal has a lot of nice places for shopping. Can you tell me a few good locations? |

| I don’t find you superficial at all! It’s true that I usually try to find out what cultural and historic landmarks of the city I’m visiting are, but shopping is also an important part of my itinerary, wherever I go. Montreal really offers numerous places where you can buy interesting things. I assume that you’re predominantly interested in clothes and in that case Saint Catherine Street is one of the most famous shopping areas in Montreal. There you can find stores of numerous famous fashion designers and companies. Earlier, a couple of famous Montreal department stores were located in this street and though they’re not there now, the street is still one of the main shopping and commercial parts of the city. |
