Where to find a list of Washington museums that are free?

Where to find a list of Washington museums that are free? I would like to take my family to museums, but I think that it is hard to find some nice places to visit. I want to see as much shows as I can. But I am aware that I will spend a lot of money on it. So it would be good to go to some free shows. Thank you in advance.

I really don’t see why that such a hard thing to do is. I mean, there are so many sites about Washington life. I mean there are some really good sites where you can find out that information. I know that I was able to find everything that I wanted to know on the internet. I don’t know if there is some official list of things and places that you can go for free. But I also think that there are some ticket that you can buy that gives you discount for the prices in most places ( I mean museums). But that is my knowledge about this thing. Maybe you should wait for second opinion.
