My friends and I are going to Montecatini. We are going to spend five days there. We adore Italian cuisine. So, we would like to ask you to recommend some good restaurants there. We like pasta and pizza a lot, but we like seafood as well. We heard that Montecatini is a nice place and not a typical Tuscan town. Is that right?

Montecatini is a very nice place. Not many tourists come here and you were right when you said that it wasnt a typical Italian town. Although all restaurants are good here, Id like to recommend Cascina. Thats an indoor/outdoor restaurant. Its very romantic inside and sometimes there is some entertainment outside. The food is great here. It is set off the main road. The other restaurant Id like to recommend is La Torre in Montecatini Alto. Then Id suggest Giovannis, behind the church in the middle of Montecatini. It is a local restaurant where you can try very good seafood. The Corsare Verde, a restaurant near the railway station is also very good.
