Hi! Greenwich Village is small and picturesque area west of Broadway and bellow 14th street. It was the most important place for hippie scene in those bohemian days. Many writers like Kerouac, Ginsberg or Dylan Thomas lived and worked there. And it goes the same for the folk music scene. Many off Broadway theaters are located in that area. Nowadays, living in Village is expensive, so many celebrities came to live there.
