| Ah I am going to ancient Rome for two weeks with some of my friends. Seeing all those attractions there will for sure fill up my soul and mind with great memories for quite some time. I must confess that we havent book any room yet, so I am wondering where I should look for apartment, in which part of the Rome you think is the best to settle yourself while you are there. |

Well you havent give me the info how big apartment should be, heh. I booked one for four of us in Campo De' Fiori area, because it was in walking distance from Saint Peter's Basilica, Castel Sant'Angelo, Pantheon and Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona. What can I say not nuts about the unneeded long walks. It is private house for renting purposes. It had shower room, cooking area, TV, wasnt fancy but quite pleasant for staying. Look under I think RMAP04 code (sorry if I mixed up something). On the other hand some of my friends were going for the more luxuries accommodation a year after us, so they booked Matisse Apartment located in the Piazza Mignanelli just near the Spanish Steps. If you want prestige furniture and all the other fancy stuffs to be available to you on your Rome vacation I guess you should skip my suggestion and book this one.

| Hi everyone, i went on a holiday in Rome this August and i reserved my apartment (on the web site there are hotels and B&B's as well) trough lodging.inromeitaly.com . I choose the the apartment using the district search engine, and found the right one for me right in the center of ancient Rome. The price was good and the owner very helpful, supplying us with all the informations about how to move around and what to see. I was really pleased with our vacation and with the service if i ever go back i will definitively use them again. |
