Where can you smoke in London?

Being that I come from New York and this is my first time in the European Union I have just one question. Where can you smoke in London? There are a few places where you can smoke in New York and it is just up from the place where you can buy drugs or hire a hit man. Can I expect the same on London?

It is not as dark as you can expect having New York experience. You are not going to bump into blood sucking murderers when you go to smokers area, not during the day light at least. Of course, most of what I have written is a joke. As you already expect you cant smoke everywhere you want when in London. There are a couple of pubs and restaurant sections where smoking is allowed. Try to keep track of regulation because punishment is serious. What I wanted to say is that a great sum of money will have to be paid if caught in misdemeanor.
