I would like to see as much as I can in Paris. On top of that, I heard of many nice places in the vicinity. I would like to visit some of them. Where can I stay for a few days in Giverny - Monet's Gardens? My friends recommended it as a must-see place.

There is one really good place where I stayed last year. B&B L'Aulnaie is my recommendation. It is located in Eure Valley, near Giverny (about 17 km). It is surrounded by rivers and lakes and, according to many people it is one of the most beautiful villages in the Eure Valley. Few very nice people, Eliane and Michel have restored an old farm and turned it into really good place to stay with 2 very nice bedrooms, the large living room with fireplace and many amenities.

You can also stay in Paris and travel there. 46 miles ain’t much of a distance…You can travel there and see what you want without staying at some small inns or motels. I have had bad experiences with accommodation in small towns and villages. It is better to stay at some well known hotel that provides good accommodation and travel to wherever you want.
