Hi! Im a student and I will be going to San Francisco on a very low budget. I have booked a room in a hostel downtown. The hostel has a lot of rooms with just one toilet on each floor. The toilets are in poor condition and do not have showers. Considering Ill be staying in San Francisco for, at least, a week Ill be in a desperate need of a shower. So Im interested where can I find public shower facilities in San Francisco?

Hello! Im not absolutely sure but I think that, as strange as it might sound, only the San Francisco National Airport has public showers. If you are that desperate, you can always go there to take a shower. I must say that the level of hygiene is really satisfactory and the cost of it symbolic. I guess that there is another way you can get to a shower and that is by checking out the local motels. Some of them must have the option of using a shower for a low cost. You should also check if there is some other hostel with the same price range but that has a shower in it. It is absolutely unbelievable to me that any type of accommodation doesnt have a shower. I also presume that there are public showers in the bay area. Youll find that theres almost no privacy there but its a way to get by. I wish you all the luck.
