Where Can You Get The Best Beer in Berlin?

Hi, Im going to Germany this fall with two friends of mine. Were a couple of average tourists and would like to see whats Berlin like. Weve heard about the popular German beer and would definitely like to get a taste of that. We have tried German imported beer before but now were hoping that the domestic will be ten times better. Where can we get the best beer there is in Berlin?

Hi, I know what you mean when you say domestic German beer and trust me its nothing like the imported ones. I have been in Berlin just last month and I got to know a lot of Berliners there. I think everybody drinks beer in Berlin its kind of like their version for water. I was amazed how many varieties of beer you can find there. My newly made friends took me to this pub, its called Lemkes and its in East Berlin. I went for the Lemkes Original beer and it was probably the best beer Ive had in many years. Later on I started discovering beer pubs on my own. I also went to Georgbrau which is a nice pub, maybe a little too big for my taste but ok. There, I tried a beer and still cant remember what its called. It was not my kind of beer but it was quality beer. Most Berlin pubs have a variety of beers to choose from and you almost cant find a single which is bad.
