I have just returned from a wonderful two week long holiday in Budapest. The trip was great and I enjoyed almost every aspect of the city. But I would definitely advise you to go and see some of the nearby villages with traditional culture when you are there. It is a real eye opener.

Is it right that "agroturismo" has already arrived from Italy in Hungary? I prefer urban holidays myself and do not like looking at other peoples' poverty (as I have heard exists to a large extent in the countryside over there, which is true even for England). So I think I will just give it a miss and stay in the city, thank you.
