When is the best time to visit penguin colony in Punta Tombo? I’m tarveling to Patagonia but I still haven’t determined the time. My wife and I can’t agree about the best time to visit Patagonia. Our holiday lasts until the mid-September so by that time we should have returned from Argentina. What do you think about July? Is penguin watching available in July?

Punta Tombo is one of the most exotic national parks in Patagonia in my opinion. I once was there and I was fascinated with it. There are other national parks in Patagonia, too but this one is so specific. Maybe because it looks like humans have never stepped upon this territory. So natural it is! When you come there, you’ll feel one with nature. Punta Tombo is the favourite place of many penguins. How nice these animals are. I don’t know if you saw them before. They are so friendly and tame as long as you don’t attack them. Tombo is their breeding place. That’s why most tourists come there in November.
