| Hello. I also travel a lot to the San Francisco, also because of my business. Since you are going there in August, Ill have to warn you that summer in San Francisco isnt typical American summer. There summer is dry, but cold and foggy. San Francisco is famous for its fog, that covers city in mornings and evenings, especially in the summer. Also the marine layer keeps temperatures well below. Although it gets really hot in one part of the day, typical summer clothes are not appropriate. You will certainly not need a winter coat, but I can recommend you a lighter jacket for the day, and then some kind of a warmer jacket for night, leather would be perfect. Usually, temperature get lower at 2 or 3 p.m. Nights can be especially cold. Have a nice stay. |
