I am going to Turkmenistan with my friends. We plan to stay there for a week. After that we will proceed to Azerbaijan and Armenia. We will go to Turkey afterwards. Since none of us has ever been there I would appreciate some suggestion as to what to do in Ashgabat for a week.

Well, Ashgabat is really an interesting place. One thing is for sure; you won’t be bored there. There are many interesting things to see and do there. I suggest you see the following: The Arch of Neutrality, Tolkuchka Bazaar, Akhal Teke Horses, The Silk Road, Arch of Neutrality, Demirel Mosque, Koroglu Bey, Independent Monument, Fountain, etc.
