I am presently in Buenos Aires and I am leaving for Puerto Madryn soon. I plan to stay for a couple of days in this interesting city. While in Puerto Madryn, I plan to make a few side trips. Since I adore penguins I’d like to visit a penguin colony in Punta Tombo. What's the price of boat trip to Punta Tombo from Puerto Madryn?

I think tant you’ll like the sight of penguins parading along the beaches of Punta Tombo though the months that are approaching are not considered as the most suitable time for Punta Tombo. The reason is very simple – the diverse seasons of the two hemispheres. The high season at Punta Tombo begins in October or even November and ends in March. This is the time when you can feel “one of them”. You may walk among them freely and the feeling is fantastic. That is also the time when the boat transfers are most frequent. I can’t tell the exact price but I suppose it’s not high because these two places are near each other.
