My friend recently invited me to come to London for her birthday. I would like to surprise her, and take her to some fantastic party there. Unfortunately, Im from Newcastle, and I never went to London, nor I was interested in parties too much. Now I need some advice about quality of parties in London. If anyone can help, it would mean a lot to me.

If one has never went to a party in London, one can not claim he has ever been to a party at all! London has explosive club and dance scene for every taste and persuasion. Actually, only thing there is to think about is which big party to head to. I dont know what your friend likes, but your choice will depend on your demands from a night out. If you like sophistication and mainstream disco, as well as expensive drinks, go to Mayfair, Chelsea, or Kensington. There are also clubs at the West End that you will find appropriate. The first, and only condition for some good time there is a healthy bank account. You can also try Imperial Gardens if you like music like R' B, Hip Hop, Soul, or Trance. One other excellent choice, since its her birthday is Hippodrome. It is huge discotheque. It is aimed at the tourist and out of town people, so are sure to have some good party time. Drinks are expensive, and the chart music is usually played.
