| Hi, there. I have been living in Chicago for three years and I am satisfied. Unlike New York which is expensive wherever you would choose to live, Chicago can be more economic in some parts. Studio apartments cost about $650 per month or more. You can rent a bigger apartment and find a roommate, it will cost you less. There are some safe areas where you can live like Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, Lakeview, Roscoe Village and others. Weather is also beautiful. In the summer is about 79 degrees and in the winter it goes around 36 degrees. Chicago is also known as Windy City. I dont know what kind of job you are offered, but I think you will find Chicago beautiful. Good luck! |
