My friend and I have decided to go to Cancun in December. It is the only time we can manage to have some time off. I don’t know what the weather is like down there in December so I am afraid that cold weather or too much rain would ruin our long awaited vacation. What’s Weather in Cancun in December like?

Don’t worry. Cancun has one of the world’s most sunny climates. Although there are strong winds and rain during September, October and November you wouldn’t miss the sun even then. From November to April you can enjoy blue sky and cool northern wind. You can expect some 25 – 27 degree Celsius at the time. Also you don’t have to worry about the hurricanes since their season is from June till November. Although any time is good, you have chosen the best time of the year to come to Cancun.

It will be nice weather. Cancún is in a tropical climate so year round it is about the same temps and weather climate. The rainy season will be over and you shouldn't have to worry about rain and also hurricane season will be over so you will be free and clear of that headache also.

Expect the temps to be in the low to mid 80's and yes you will be able to swim. The ocean temps will still be around 72-75 degrees. Basically like a lukewarm bath. It never gets that cold in Cancún and the Caribbean is always nice and inviting. It may get slightly chilly at night so you may want to take a light jacket. What I mean by slightly chilly is that it may be around 65-70, which to me is nice, but some think it's a little chilly, so it just depends what you comfort level is. I gave you a link below to check out that tells you about the months and what to expect weather wise. It will be nice enjoyable weather though. Enjoy your time!!!
