| The combination of tropical latitude, mountain ranges, and two ocean currents makes Peru a unique climate environment. There are twenty-eight of the thirty-two weather climates found in Peru. Winter season is between the moths of June and September on the Pacific Coast. The dry season, characterized for dry days and dry/cold nights, is from the middle of April to the end of October at the Highlands area. Likewise the Coast and the Highlands, the Amazon jungle has a dry and wet season. The dry season is from April to October with an average temperature of 30 C to 35 C. |
