What's August Like in Moscow?

Whats August in Moscow like? I want to go there and since I dont like cold weather summer months seem like the most appropriate time for visit. The problem is I dont know whether Moscow has a rich cultural life in August and thats why Im having second thoughts about it. There is no use of going there during the dead season.

August in Moscow is great, as well as, Moscow in August is great. Now seriously, as far as the weather is concerned, August is perfect for those who cant stand freezing Russian winters. The temperatures then are within 15-25 C range, which is in my opinion just as it should be for sightseeing activities. And about this dead season, I think youre forgetting that Moscow is one of the cultural capitals of Europe and a metropolis that never sleeps. Besides, summer is a tourist season and its only logical that Moscow expects it with full capacities. Dont hesitate and have second thoughts, good time is guaranteed there regardless of the season.
