Hi! I am about to spend some time in Johannesburg and I would like to know something more about the transportation around JNB. How far is the airport from the city centre? How about using a taxi? Is it safe enough? I've heard that the city has a high crime rate. Any info would be great! Thank you!

Hello! Well, JNB is the African biggest air point, but not the safest. From time to time you can hear that armed robberies happened right before the eyes of policemen. The airport is situated 15 miles (24 kilometres) distant from the city and the taxi is good idea. But if you can, its better for you to hire a car with driver. I wouldnt recommend you take the bus.
