What is the best location to stay in while on weekend in San Diego?

Hi, Im eager to take brake from all the work and go to San Diego for the weekend. I want to know what is the best location I could stay in. I would prefer some place near the center of the city so I could check out the nightlife. Because Im staying for such a short period of time I would like the place where Ill be staying to be enjoyable without any bad sides to it that could spoil my weekend there.

Hi, well if you staying for only a weekend I think almost any place will seem like a good place with only two days spent there. The disadvantages of any place usually start surfacing after about a week. If youre not on a tight budget Ill be free to recommend some of the places which are known to be a little more expensive but absolutely the best. The Westgate Hotel is an expensive one but it has several strong advantages. Its in the center of San Diego, it is beautifully furnished and it has got all the facilities youll need. Its a high class hotel and you wont regret it if you spend your nights here. The next one you should consider is the Pacific Terrace Hotel. This one has a beautiful view of the ocean and a nice swimming pool too. It has a couple of restaurants which serve quality food. It is not located near the center of the city so if thats your priority forget this one.
