What does Riga look like now?

I was in Riga 10 years ago. I liked that place, but it was nothing special. So I am planning to go there again this summer. Has anybody been to Riga, Latvia recently?
What does Riga look like now? I would really like to find out what I can expect. Thank you in advance, for every information that you will give me.

I have been in Riga recently. And I must say that I like that city very much. I dont know how it looked 10 years ago. Now it is big academic city with numerous institutions. I was there because of some lectures. They have a great deal of experts there. I also spent couple days there. I had enough time to to a little bit of exploring. And I must say that I was very satisfied. You have nice examples of very old, but also the examples of very modern, even hi-tech architecture. There are a lot of things that you can see. I think that you will like the way Riga looks now.
