What can youth do in Livorno?

Hi. We are going on holiday to Livorno this year. Until now we have always chosen holiday destinations for the kids, but they are now 14 and 16, and we decided that they should entertain themselves this year. Of course I do want them to have a good time, and not to get into trouble. Can you advise some things for them to do?

Livorno is a stunning Renaissance town and I dont have a doubt that you will have a great time there. As for the kids, I am sure they will like hanging around on the beach and having a look at the old town and the many shops. They also have a football team there, perhaps you can go to a game. Oh yes, there are organized volleyball games on the beach perhaps they will enjoy that?
