Hi everybody!
Husband and I are planning a stopover in Paris for 3 days, and I was surfing the net for information on interesting places to visit. I found out that many people recommend old market at Mouffetard Street, but I was wandering what are the best bargains over there. I enjoy shopping, and Id like to know if there is any typical bargain stuff in this area. Any info will be appreciated.
Thank you. |

| First, let me tell you it is a great idea to go there. Being situated in the core of the Latin Quarter, it is still sort of off the beaten path gem and is very romantic even if you just want to go for a walk. As far as I can remember prices are more or less the same as elsewhere, but the place is full of life and makes real experience of the city out of your shopping. I went there years ago, but I remember that little restaurants all over the place were much cheaper and you shouldn't miss, especially if you are a cheese lover. Fresh fruit is also available at the fair prices. I'm not quite sure if it is still closed on Mondays, so you better check it, or avoid going there. Hope this helps a bit. Regards! |
