I have some friends down under and the have invited me to visit them. I have never been in Australia and I’d like to visit it finally. They live in Brisbane and I’d very much like to see Sydney or Melbourne instead. What are your thoughts on Brisbane? Is it worth visiting or I should just send a day or two at my friends’ and visit some other city after that?

In my opinion Brisbane is a great city, just like Melbourne and Sydney. It is one of the largest cities in Australia and it surely ha many things offer. Its cultural scene is very rich and vibrant and you can enjoy numerous famous opera and theatre performances there. Another thing tat I like about Brisbane is its climate. Average winter temperatures are about 20 C and during the summer they’re about 29 C. That’s just perfect for sightseeing, or walking through one of its wonderful and lush parks and botanical gardens. You must visit so-called Japanese Garden. I don’t have to mention that it is a beautiful and attractive modern city. To put it in a nutshell – I liked it very much.
