I am sure that all of you have some complaints about gas prices in the USA. There are some information that they are going up this summer. I am planning to visit Hawaii next month and this new situation is a great concern. I wouldnt want to pay more for gas than for my vacation. What are the gas prices on the islands in comparison to USA?

You have the same worries like we all do. But I must say that in comparison to gas prices in Europe we are more than lucky. Yes, prices go up every summer but in Europe government takes you up to 50 percent when you pay on gas station. About gas prices in the USA they very from state to state. I think California is in top of the list with about $2.25 per gallon for a regular and New Jersey is the cheapest with around $1.83 per gallon for same gas. But Hawaii is the most worrying, that is for sure. There gas prices are the highest. Average amount you pay for regular is $2.42, for diesel $2.66. So you must count that when you plan your vacation.
