What are the Best Cities In Germany?

Hi, I have been wanting to go to Germany for a long time now. Everybodys always talking about Berlin like its the only city in Germany and I know that this is due to it being the capital. Personally I think that capital cities arent always the best ones so this is why I want to know which are the truly best cities in Germany? I dont mind going to Berlin because surely its a nice city but who knows what else is out there.

Hi, Ill have to say that it all depends. You should bare in mind that every single city around the world has its advantages as well as its disadvantages. Because I know Germany very well Ill try to come up with a list of the cities with the most advantages. Hamburg is kind of a city that has it all. It is not as big as Berlin but it sure feels that way. There are many things to see there including the Harbor and the City Hall as well as many other sights. It has quite an intense nightlife and lots of restaurants, pubs and theatres. The only bad thing about Hamburg is that it attracts loads of tourists every year so theres a tourist on every corner. If that is something that bothers you then you shouldnt come here. Berlin would make it second because it definitely has something that other cities in Germany dont. Its hard to explain but youll surely feel it if you go there. Somehow the people in Berlin are different and it doesnt always feel like youre in Germany. Berlin also has it all but in a different way. If you have the time Cologne, Munich and Dresden should be on your list too.
