What are Cadiz beaches like?

My family and I plan to go to Cadiz for two weeks. Two things are the most important to us when we go on holiday, the sea and the beach cause we adore to sunbathe and swim. Has any of you been to Cadiz? What are the beaches like? Are there some activities on the beach? Any information would be helpful.

Cadiz is a place with beautiful beaches. There are different kinds of beaches, such as: urban beaches, which are very crowded with various activities, than semi-urban beaches and isolated beaches, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Cadiz is also divided into two different areas: the beaches of the Mediterranean and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. All of the beaches are sandy, the sea is beautiful. My favorite are: La playa de Santa Maria del Mar, Playa de Cortadura, La playa de la Caleta. The beach La playa de Santa Maria del Mar features the view of the old district of Cadiz. The beach La Caleta is also nice, it is between two castles: San Sebastian and Santa Catalina.
