Hello there dear friends. I have heard that there are many great Buddhist temples in Thailand. I will be staying in Chiang Mai for a week, and I would like to make the most out of my visit there. So, can somebody please recommend me which places I should visit during my stay? I am looking forward to hear your answers

Well, you will have many places of religious importance to visit during your stay in Chiang Mai, so be prepared. I think it would be best for you to take one or more organized tours, and visit all the Buddhist temples in this area. I would recommend you to visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, it is a most definite must see . It is established in XIV century. Even though it is the most recent one, which is built in Chiang Mai, It is the most important one and the symbol of this town. The oldest temple in the city was built in 13th century. It is called Wat Chiang Mun, and it is the one you should also visit.
