Wengen or Lauterbrunnen: Where to stay?

Hi there! Can someone please help me out? Im going to Switzerland and I will be staying in an apartment in either the Wengen or Lauterbrunnen (Interlaken) with my family. The prices are about the same and both seem OK. I need to decide which is better, lets say in terms of starting point for trips, services available and so on. Is there someone here who stayed in either, and make me a recommendation?

I would say Wengen as I think the views from there are better. It is higher up in the Valley. Although transport options are better from Lauterbrunnen, Wengen has an internet connection as well as a wide choice of restaurants. But you can really go wrong, I think either are a good choice.
