Wears Valley in the Smokey Mountains?

I am a bit tired of beaches and tropical climate; perhaps it is time for a change. I offered my girlfriend to go somewhere different this time, and she agreed. She even suggested a new destination Wears Valley in the Smoky Mountains. Can you tell me something about that place? I am totally clueless. She is too; she has only heard of the place, does not know anything else.

That could be a nice change for both of you, since that place is also known as the getaway for families and honeymoons. If you want an outdoor adventure, this would be the perfect place for you. Rafting, wilderness exploring, kayaking, hiking, these are all activities you could participate in while enjoying the beautiful surrounding scenery. Actually, I enjoyed that scenery the most, I found it quite relaxing.
