Waiting hours at border crossing to US from Tijuana

Hello! Im doing a report on the border crossing from Tijuana, Mexico to the US and I need some first hand information about the waiting hours as well as the crossing itself. I have never been to Mexico therefore I am not fully aware of all the details regarding the border crossing. I need up to date info, meaning border crossing experiences from the last couple of months.

Hello! Youre in luck! Me and my husband visited Tijuana just last month and stayed there for a week. The border crossing from the States to Mexico went without any major delays and I must stress out that the Mexican customs were really efficient and professional. Our stay there was also pleasant and then came the moment of return. As we were getting near the border from a distance we saw a huge row of cars. The vehicles werent moving at all. At that point we realized that it is going to be a long way home. We practically waited for 5 hours before reaching the border itself. The American customs tried to be as efficient as possible but even so the whole process took some time. Obviously the whole deal with the Mexican-American border being the border with the most illegal crossings has made the whole situation almost unbearable. Good luck on your report!
