Hi, I just got married! It all happened so fast that I still cant believe it. I have decided to surprise my wife with a honeymoon in Hawaii. Honolulu to be precise. Ive heard that the Waikiki area is the perfect place for such an occasion. I want everything to be just perfect and because of that I want to make the right decision when booking a room in a hotel. Since Waikiki is such a popular place for tourists I assume there must be a lot of hotels there so what do you suggest, which one is the best?

Hi, congratulations on your marriage! Yes there are a lot of hotels in the Waikiki area but there are only a few which are worth it. I hope that you are aware of the fact that most hotels in Waikiki are so expensive it makes you dizzy. But if you can afford it, youll have the time of your life there! My friends stayed at the Halekulani Hotel which is absolutely overrated. They werent happy at all. In spite of the claims of the person in charge at the hotel, the room they have booked didnt have a good view of the ocean. It is such a difficult matter to discuss because it is always questionable whether the rooms, that are located on the side of the hotel, can provide a satisfactory view of the ocean. The one that I fortunately chose was perfect in every way. It was the Pacific Ocean Hotel. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed their Oceanarium restaurant so much we ended up spending most of our time just sitting there, eating and staring at the big aquariums. It is not that expensive but it sure isnt cheap either. But anyhow the Pacific Ocean Hotel would be my suggestion to you.
